Tips
Extra Helping Hand: If your attempting to solder small materials you made need help in holding them. Don’t worry. Take out a pair of needle nose pliers. Grab a rubber band and simply hold your item (for example a deans connector) then take your rubber band, tightly place your rubber band around the handle and you have the perfect holder while you soldier on your wires. It’s that easy.
Clean and Scuff that Body: Before you paint any lexan body make sure you wash it with soap and water. The bodies come from the factory with a release agent on them that helps remove them from the molds. Carefully rinse all the soap off and dry. Taking some very high grit sandpaper, say 400+ grit, lightly scuff the areas to be painted. This will provide better adhesion for the paint. DO NOT SCUFF THE WINDOWS!!! Wipe the body out with a clean cloth and you are ready to paint!
After run engine oil: Use it, it works! There are several manufacturers that make it. It will protect your engine from gum and varnish build up while protecting your bearings and internal parts from corrosion. It works on 2 and 4 stroke engines and is easy to use. Simply pour into the exhaust port or glow plug hole after each run. DO NOT POUR into the carburetor as it may attack your o rings. Follow the directions on the bottle.
